Research Protocol (How to Play)
1. Observation & Experimentation
The system has selected a secret hidden rule (e.g., "Must be Red"). Your goal is to discover it.
Use the Lab Bench to configure test specimens. Every experiment costs $50,000 from your grant funding. Check your Log to see which specimens caused a reaction.
2. Publication & Peer Review
When you are confident you know the rule, construct your theory at the Publication Desk.
Correct: You receive a $2,000,000 grant renewal and proceed to the next academic level.
Incorrect: The scientific community rejects your paper. You are fined $500,000. If your funding hits $0, your career is over.
Tip: Higher levels introduce Boolean Logic.
- AND: Both conditions must be true.
- OR: At least one condition must be true.
- Level 3+: Introduces a third variable. The order of operations is sequential:
